Louise Cright passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, surrounded by her family, at the age of 89.

Born on September 12, 1936, Louise was an accomplished artist whose work lovingly depicted life in a small town in northern Ontario. Through her art, she captured everyday moments, community, and quiet beauty, leaving behind a meaningful and lasting legacy.

Louise was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is lovingly survived by her five children and two grandchildren, who will remember her with deep affection and gratitude.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Shorncliffe Care Home and Silverstone Care Centre, both in Sechelt, British Columbia, for their loving kindness and dedicated care.

Louise will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
